WHY I AM FEELING OH SO THANKFUL THIS THANKSGIVING!

WHY AM I FEELING OH SO THANKFUL THIS THANKSGIVING?

Let me count the ways! I am joining in the Women of Midlife BlogHop today to share with everyone why I am feeling so blessed and Thankful this particular Thanksgiving.

First and foremost I am sssooo very Thankful for this guy right here!→ He is the sugar in my sweet tea, the poochie in my bear and the moon to my stars. He is my best friend, confidante, soul mate and awesome lover (I really want a new laptop for Christmas, so I have to make this one really good)!

AND for having these 4 nuts who never let me forget that I am still and will always be MOM AND OF COURSE AUNT RENA!

They have made my life crazy, fun and complete and I love them more than I love my Doritos…that’s ALOT!

Then there is this woman who keeps me grounded and never let’s me forget that I am still a daughter. Also my best friend and the biggest supporter for my WHOLE life which is a VERY, VERY long time.

Then there are these guys in order of seniority. My precious, lovable, squeezable grandbabies. Four individual little people who have stolen my heart.

If I would have known they were this much fun I probably would have skipped those two up there↑ and went straight for the sugar!

(Just kidding kiddies momma still loves you) Just not as much as these 3 little guys and one beautiful little lady!

Three of which are born on the same day so don’t ask for ANYTHING in November because this grandma will be broke for years to come!!!  My daughter made this video today of her babies. It made me bawl so I am going to share it here!

Now that I have done enough sucking up for my Christmas presents, I want to say how much I am truly thankful, grateful and all the other ful’s you can think of for hitting that publish button a year ago this coming January and opening up a brand new world for me! Social media…WOW! Who would a thunk it…me?

I didn’t have a clue what Facebook, Pinterest, Google+, Twitter and Tsu what about. NO CLUE. My daughter had to set up my profiles and look at me 11 months later.

This has lead to many great changes in my life but the number one by far is the friendships I have made! If I were to name them all it would like a Google+ circle share and that would just be annoying but you know who you are and I love each and every one of you!!! YES…EVEN YOU!

…and all of that lead me to my next reason to be thankful…THE WOMEN OF MIDLIFE. My biggest supporters, loudest cheerleaders, bestest of friends. You make me smile, giggle, piss my pants laugh, cry but most of all you teach me. I wish I could take a before and after I met them, picture of me, you wouldn’t believe the difference! Hubby thinks I am having a love affair with a 1,000 women…he’s right! Aren’t I the slut of the year hahaha!

I am so thankful that as of this morning I am the proud owner of the BAM 15 conference ticket in March!

The chance to meet the ones IRL who changed my life so much for the better. I am going to give everyone of you a big sloppy kiss when I see you (just kidding there too! Never take me to seriously it could get us all into trouble!) I have my calender marked, my hotel reserved, my ticket bought and if I could, my bags would be packed but then I would have to go naked for the next 4 months and let me tell you NOBODY would be thankful for that! Seriously, for just a minute, thank you so much for teaching me to laugh again. You have changed my life forever and I owe it all to you!♥

THAT is a very long list of what I am thankful for this year! I hope you enjoy it (and I hope I get some really cool gifts…like that laptop, poochie bear)!

Appreciate the good, laugh at the crazy and deal with the rest. I love you momma!

Thank you Linda! It’s getting bigger everyday! I think this will be all of our growth until the next generation! We have four generations now and for someone who was born without grandparents that is amazing to me!

I’m so thankful those babies are off the vent. I’m also thankful for all the incredible, giving people who care for their loved ones as their lives move through the heartbreaking journey with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Thanks Jen! This last couple of days have been rough. The Drs. found that Izzy has a heart murmur and they are trying to fix it with medicine. The one kind of medicine the need there is apparently a National shortage. They are trying a different kind. If it doesn’t work she will have to undergo open heart surgery. Say a prayer if you don’t mind.
