Let’s face it, being a caregiver is hard. There were days when I just wanted to throw up my hands and quit, but you can’t quit when you’re taking care of a loved one, can you? There’s so much you have to do and remember and also so much you have to remember not to do. It can get confusing fast.
I was a caregiver for 10 years and I know how hard it is. When you finally do get some respite you worry the whole time that something might trigger your loved one and the person tasked with taking care of them might not recognize or understand.
So much to remember; medicine schedules, doctors’ appointments, insurance claims, Medicaid, Medicare it can all be too much and this is where disaster can come in. Missed dosages could be dangerous, missed doctors’ appointments are unprofessional, insurance deadlines not met as you can see it can get catastrophic quickly.
What if you had one place where you could keep everything that you need to have in one convenient place? Do you think it would help you?
- A place to keep a schedule,
- A place to write down medicine instructions.
- A place to write down basic insurance policy information.
- A place to keep track of things that can be avoided. Things that have been known to trigger agitation in the past.
- A physical book that you could leave for a caregiver providing respite to you.
I’ve created this one-of-kind caregiver’s manual with the idea that staying organized is a life and death struggle in a caregiver’s world.
I also wanted to create something that was pretty something that a caregiver wouldn’t mind being seen with. The idea is that you download the manual print out the pages you want. That way when one page gets full you can just print out another. Put these in a binder and wah-lah you have an easy-to-use manual. Take it a step further and add pockets for things you need to have like insurance cards or id’s.
What do you think? Something that you can use? Oh and there are three beautiful designs to choose from. Get yours now for only $17.99!
